Description of the flag

What looks like the party flag is in this page.
Dov Gutterman, Mar 1999

Party flag: Simple green over red bicolor. Could this symbolize green (agro)vegetation on red soil?
António Martins, 17 Sep 2003

On 2003 Aug 19, 05:33, Mikhail Revnivtsev reported (my translation): «At the official website of the Agrarian Party of Russia you can find its emblem (which they call a coat of arms), flag and banner
António Martins, 17 Sep 2003

As described by Victor Lomantsov (my translation): «The APR uses a green and red ribbon on their party seal. And as a party flag, they use a flag with green on top, red on the bottom.»
Zachary Harden, 09 Dec 2003

It is interesting that the party adopts officially a flag (for flying?) and a banner (for parading?), certainly influenced by some aspects of the current russian heraldic practice. It would be interesting to check also how well observed are the distinguishing regulations.

Identical to the flag but “enriched” with the emblem centered on the green stripe and the name of the party, in green serid capitals, set in two lines (two over one words) and centered on the red stripe. The lettering says "АГРАРНАЯ ПАРТИЯ РОССИИ", which means Agrarian Party of Russia.

Unofficial flag?

This weekend I saw TV reporting about congress of Agrarian party. The flag was green with golden sheaf.
Nikolay A. Khimenkov, 21 Mar 1999

I wonder what’s the use of having such (apparently) strict and detailed flag regulations and then supporters go waving “illegal” surogates…

Seven ears of wheath, golden, tied with two ribbons, green above and red bellow, and with a golden hammer and sickle acting as a sort of buckle. The ribbon colors are the same as those on the flags (q.v.).
António Martins, 17 Sep 2003

The logo consists of wheat being bound by two ribbons of green and red. A red hammer and sickle is at the bottom of the group of wheat, but I seriously doubt it had to do with communism at all.
